Q: What is the difference between a Gallery and Standard finish?


All our canvases arrive ready to hang! The main difference is that the Gallery Finish gives a high-end professional finish! We carefully hide the staples and loose ends on the back of the canvas as well as providing small fabric wall padding's on each corner to protect your walls from any possible damage.



A Standard Finish however is exposed and staples not hidden. The finished result will not affect how your canvas looks on the outside once hanging on your walls.





Q: What is the difference between a picture edge and a mirror edge?



A picture edge is where your image continues to wrap along the edges of the canvas. This technique is best used for long distance photos or nature scenery. We do not recommend Picture Edge for close-up photography or portraits otherwise you'll find 4cm cut off from the top, bottom and sides of your image! Our team will contact you if we believe you will lose too much of the image.



A Mirror edge is a common effect we use to keep as much of the image within the frame as possible. We sample a small portion along each sides of the canvas and flip it to sit on the sides of the frame. This is a popular technique we use for many family photos, weddings, photo restorations and close up images.





Q: How long is the production time?


Orders placed during business hours of Monday - Friday before 5pm are placed into production on the same day. Our standard turn-around time is 7-10 business days. Each canvas order is individually made, we thoroughly check every image adjusting it for the best print results if necessary.



Q: What is the maximum file size that can be uploaded?


Our maximum file size is 15MB. If your image too big to upload simply contact our support team on info@canvasartfactory.com for assistance.



Q: Can I print an image that I found on image search?


Unfortunately we cannot print images without a licence or artists permission. This is due strict copyright laws that are enforced to protect the artist from their work being copied. If there is a specific image that you absolutely love but cannot find a licence for you can simply contact our customer support team on (07) 3393 2880 or email at info@canvasartfactory.com and we can find a suitable image you!



Q: What payment is accepted?


We accept Bank Transfers, Visa, Mastercard, Debit Cards and Paypal.



Q: Do you ship overseas?


We only offer $14.95 Flat Rate Shipping in Australia.

Q: Can I use images taken from my mobile to print on large canvases?


Our expert team of photo editors inspect every image that is placed on order through our website. If there are any concerns over the quality we will contact you with the details supplied on the order.



Q: What if my photos are not perfect?


No worries! We can adjust your image such as colour balance, contrast, exposure and retouching for no extra cost!



Q: Are your canvases eco-friendly?


Absolutely! We use latex inks to provide rich and vibrant colours that is odour-free. Perfect for any sensitive indoor environment!



Q: How do I hang my canvas when I get it?


All of our canvases are fitted with either a wire or rope string on the back to support the weight of your canvas. Our canvases are light weight enough to be supported by removable wall hooks!



Q: Can I hang my canvas outside?


We do not recommend hanging your canvas in direct sunlight or in exposed outdoor areas. Avoid areas that are high-humidity such as small bathrooms.



Q: What can I use to clean my canvas?


We recommend using a duster to clean your canvases. Avoid using soapy or wet products as they can smear and damage your canvas.
